How to Become an Early Riser

Eric sent me this post on this guys blog about How to Become an Early Riser. I’m going to try it out and see if it works. Tonight actually. Maybe I’ll play some Half-Life 2 or something. The problem is I can stay awake indefinately as long as my brain is active. I can stay up for 36 hours playing WoW. Not Joke! But, I’m going to try it. When should I wake up though? And tomorrow is a Saturday. Maybe I’ll get up early, goto my local coffee shop “It’s a Grind” and play some WoW. That’ll keep me up. I’ve also been messing with Linux. Going to wipe my laptop tomorrow and put a version of Fedora Core 4 on there. Wish me luck, I hope I can compile all the drivers for my laptop. This should be fun.

Vista… Everything OSX can do already.

This video has audio from a presentation of Vista’s new features, but the video is OSX Tiger doing those same exact things. In other words… Vista is nothing new. Windows is once again too late! Why am I not surprised?

Sprint Refuses To Reveal Location Of Cell Phone In Carjacked SUV

Sprint demands $25 activation fee and application to start service before they will help rescue a kidnapped child.

This confirms, yet again how much I hate sprint. I called them 2 weeks ago to get unlimited text messaging put on a phone. Well, after the phone call the lady says, “Ok sir, I see here that you are eligible for a free month of our vision package, I’ll just go ahead and get you set up for that.” (more…)

They’re Coming Back!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming back to the big screen. I loved these guys when I was a kid. They’re still my favorite, and everyone elses that I know. Supposedly it will be CG animation.

Karate Search

I watched the Mortal Kombat Theme Song on Google Video originally and laughed histerically. I later watched it with Mauio, Betty’s brother. I was watching Urban Ninja on Google Video when the browser crashed, I blame Shutterfly and their dumb plugin. I was looking for more like something like this. But I found these Napoleanesk type guys and thought I’d post them too.

NETGEAR Skype Phone

Netgear Skype Phone introduces their next creation.  A Wi-Fi phone using the Skype Network.  This is going to be a sharp blow to the phone companies as people use Wi-Fi, not just from their homes, but from anywhere that offers a free Wi-Fi spot.  This will boost war-driving in neighborhoods as people search for unencrypted wireless networks to make quick phone calls.

Tweak your PC to Run Faster!

I found this website with some registry tweaks and some other neat stuff that I’m planning on doing to my PC. I haven’t done it yet. I’m going to Ventura today for the College and Career Retreat with my church, but they have Wi-Fi so I plan on doing it. When I worked at Best Buy, Geek Squad would do this and charge $110 for this service. A rip-off? I think so too.
