So this is me:
Lesson Learned

And people are asking me “What Happened?!?!”

I went to Shark’s Cove with my visiting cousing Danny and his friends. I’ve been to Shark’s Cove several times even this time of year and I know and understand that the waves can get very big. However, I wasn’t paying attention when a 15-20ft wave crashed on the far side of the cove. I had no time to prepare and grab something and I was promptly swept up the side of the wall and dumped on the other side into the lagoon. The result was heaps of blood gushing out of me from the scrapes and punctures on my back and leg. Danny and the others wondered what happened to me, only seeing a slipper floating in the aftermath were shook up pretty good. But I called them from the other side and told them where I was.

Here’s a google maps link of Shark’s Cove when the tide is down and there are now waves.
Me getting hit by the wave probably looked something like this:
Shark's Cove
of course I would have been on the opposite side of the rocks and then tossed over like a doll.

Here’s some more photos me me and how I looked. People from all over heard about it and I got crazy dm’s, posts, and comments, thank you guys so much for your support and help. Thanks to the life guards at Waimea Bay and especially to Katherine Finches for fixing me up later at the hospital and at her house the next night. I’m still bleeding a little and my back and leg are pretty messed up but it was definitely fun and a rush.

Next adventure, Stairway to Heaven.
