A trip to Los Angeles in February
I’m taking a trip to Los Angeles between February 25th and March 16th.

About 5 hours ago I received a call from my brother. He was extremely distraught and said he needed to tell me something. I could sense something was wrong.
“What’s up Danny?”
He then told me, “Dude, Dede is dead.”
I was in shock. I ha just been in my at up to a BBQ with some friends in mania valley.
I thought about it more. I called my step-dad no answer. I called my brother Jimmy, no answer. I called my mom. That was the hardest I think. I asked how she was. She started crying histerically while talking. I managed to hear, “I lost my dad.” I got a huge ball in my throat. My min has been going through a lot the past couple if weeks. It’s been really hard on her I’m sure.
As far as my grandfather goes, I think he died about 5 years ago when my grandmother passed away. After Nene died he was never the same. In a way I lost touch with him. He ever left his house. In fact, I think I saw him less than 4 times after that. The couple of times he did leave his apartment it was by force an lots if guilt tripping.
I’m happy for Dede because now he can be with my grandma again and be happy like he used to be.
I love you Dede and I’ll see you again soon.
