Voicemail Traditions
Since highschool my friends and I have had this tradition of leaving musical voicemails on each other phones… most times they’re made up. I like to leave them on my phone as long as possible because most times they are absolutely freaking hilarious. Thanks to Google Voice I can now share these awesome voicemails with the world.

My Letter to Tubefilter News about the Streamys
Hey Jenni,
I am a long time geek and photographer, I was invited to help cover the Streamys with the Bui Brothers and I had front row seating in the awards ceremony and was at the after party. I have been reading all the bad responses about the Streamys being “horrible” etc. and I have to disagree. I loved it and I had a great time! There were things I didn’t like about the Streamys but was that really the Streamys fault? Is it there fault that they trusted the youtube and web community to respect their own awards show? I am, admittedly, not a part of the youtube community but from my experiences with them starting with the coverage of the Justin Bieber concert a couple weeks back up until now I’ve realized that most of them are childish, attentions starving, narcissists. This attitude brought what was a great, honorable occasion down to nothing more then a one-up contest.Technical problems happen, and yes they were a problem, there should have been backups, etc etc. However, it was at a beautiful venue, it was a exciting, there were lots of my friends there and people I have always wanted to meet.
The Streamys is our awards show, without it what do we have. The community needs to get behind it and claim it just as we’ve claimed the internet as our social outlets. Everyone needs to stop complaining and start appreciating the fact that their online web show was recognized in the first place.
