thesixtyone.com (T61) is the latest addiction with not just me but the rest of the geeks in Hawaii. At last Thursday’s Manoa Geek meet I demo’d T61. It works as a game that you play with your friends. The best way I can describe T61 is the stock market meets music. Get points, spend points, make points. Check it out, and make sure to add me as a reference. My username of course JPhilipson. See you there!

I’ve told this idea to a lot of people and I am SO glad that someone has decided to do it. The way I envisioned it was using something like twitter to let people know about traffic situations and more importantly where speed traps are located.

There is a ktlink here in Hawaii that displays HPD’s traffic reports so if you’re about to make a trip you can quickly check for traffic accidents or congestions.

However, using trapster you can report and get reports on current speed traps. What I most like about this feature is that you can use Jott.com to actually phone in where those sneaking cops are hiding.

So I hope that helps! I’ve signed up and will be checking it out for a little bit.

The same company that gave you moo cards (the small and adorable business cards that are loved by flickerites everywhere) are now offering postcards! This is definitely going to come into handy for Christmas. That is all. You may leave.

I’ve mentioned language service Mango before. Since then I’ve played around with this language service in my attempts to learn Japanese. If you are looking for help learning how to read, write, speak, and hear different languages (11 so far) then you should definitely check Mangolanguages.com. They incorporate a clean user interface and provide you with different voices and dialect variations to help you master the language of your choice.

Ask500People is a fantastic and fun way to poll the globe on any question, big or small. Do you support the war in Iraq? Do you floss regularly? Is Pluto a planet or not? Watch answers pop up on a world map in real time, vote for the next question, or submit your own.
